Session Management
These methods enable you to manage technician sessions.
Note: The
authcode parameter enables you to use these methods
without logging in to Rescue.
- getSession
Retrieves the current sessions of any hierarchy node (technician or channel). You can see the list of sessions on the Sessions tab of the Rescue Administration Center. - getSession_v2

An administrator can start a session of a technician. You can start a session from the Sessions tab of the Rescue Administration Center. - holdSession
An administrator can put a technician session on hold. You can do this from the Sessions tab of the Rescue Administration Center. - transferSession

An administrator can close a technician session. You can close a session from the Sessions tab of the Rescue Administration Center. - cancelAction
An administrator can cancel the action that he performed on a technician session. You can cancel an action from the Sessions tab of the Rescue Administration Center. - isAnyTechAvailableOnChannel
Retrieves whether a channel has technicians online. You can see online technicians in the organization tree of the Rescue Administration Center.
